The beginning of the end

I vow that from this day onwards I shall blog every 2 days. IJN. Amen.

So, every time I start a post, I will begin with a brag of how many hours of studying I did today. Today, I did Zero. Shame. Shame.

So, a summary of my time since the last post.

1. I finished my final semester and got one re-sit. Passed all the other subjects well.
2. I had a short holiday spent with the new friends I made.
3. Went to Langkawi Island though there was some "mchanga in that kitumbua" I did have a fun time with great friends. So so many memories.
4. Submitted my passport for the last time for visa renewal.
5. Started studying for my re-sit.
6. Went through some serious bumming and chilling.
7. Went for clubbing a couple of times.
8. Successfully organised and catered for about 400 Africans in Malaysia at my church City Harvest Church KL .
9. Said farewell to a good friend of mine. Hopefully we shall meet again.
10. Joined and dropped put of organizing committee for an event in school.
11. Joined the committee for Emerge NEON 2012 .
12. Had a good 3 months of reflection and life decisions made.

It has been a fun three months since I last blogged. My family is healthy. My sisters are still hilarious. My mum got me through a tough moment. I do believe it was really tough, but it wasn't my toughest moment yet. If I can go through a break-down of relationships with different people without sitting down to wallow, I know my strength isn't my own. I thank God for strength, and for making me encounter someone to help me through.

Just a sneak peek of what's ahead for me.

Oh, and in an effort to maintain a healthy lifestyle,

And of-course, ;)

Cheers to the last half of the weekend!

Career Cries

By cries, I mean, tears-cries. Its been a long winding 3.5 years for my degree. I was initially supposed to go only 3 years, but we cannot plan failure can we? I keep on getting the weirdest wake-up calls to buck up and work a bit harder until I finish. Like yesterday, I wrote this test, which left me totes flabbergasted. I mean, it was my fault because I didn't study for it, and I felt like crap after it. You know the crap that's always underneath all the other crap. That crap LVL is what I felt. Despair.
But, hey, we learn from our mistakes and moving on!! The next attempt should be on point. No procrastinating, No assuming the simplicity of engineering. (Why did I ever?)

I will soon be an engineer. At least that's my goal. But, I gotta make it happen the right way. No more dulling. Laziness SHINDWE!

Engineering is kinda kicking my tush, but I plan on kicking its own even harder before I leave Uni. 5 more months in this place, gotta watch this space. :-/

My daily Faith Confessions

1. I walk in love, as Christ loved me, and gave himself an offering, a sweet smelling fragrance.
2. My beauty does not consist of outward things, instead my heart which is incorruptible, within which is a meek and quiet spirit.
3. Of this I am confident, He who began a good work in me, will carry it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.
4. You will know that I am Lord, my people when I open your graves and bring you forth from them.
5. Keep asking, keep seeking, and Keep knocking.
6. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
7. But to all who received Him, He gave the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name.
8. If I continue in His Word, therein the truth and the truth shall set me free.
9. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I could ask or imagine.
10. If He is for me, who can be against me?
11. I am fully forgiven and free from condemnation.
12. He died that I may live.
13. God will not allow me to be tempted beyond which I am able, but with every temptation a way of escape.
14. My every action must be done with love.
15. I am God’s chosen one, holy and beloved, bowels of mercy, kindness, humility, long suffering, accepting and forgiving one another as He forgave us. But above all, love as the perfect bond of unity.
16. God has not given me fear, but a spirit of love, power and sound judgment.
17. By His word, I am complete, equipped for every good work.
